Republican primary candidate Eli Clemmer (R- Berlin) has announced he is leaving the Republican primary to pick New Hampshire’s 2020 challenger to DC Democrat Ann Kuster. Clemmer is also urging his supporters to back Steve Negron.

“Steve Negron’s campaign has inspired me to join with him in a united front,” Clemmer said. “As Republicans, our ultimate goal is unseating Ann Kuster. Steve and I agree on the fact that biased propaganda has infiltrated our school systems. Steve and I are committed to preserving freedom and ensuring the 1st Amendment rights for Americans.”

This appears to me to be both good news and bad news for the remaining viable contender, Lynne Blankenbeker. It’s bad in that Clemmer’s ground game – and he has been up and down the state appearing at anything and everything to get his name out – will help pad Negron’s lead. The Good news for Lynne is that she no longer has to fear coming in third behind Clemmer next Tuesday. A second-place repeat is more or less a lock.

And hey, if Lynne does win, we’ll support her 100% and we hope she will do the same for Steve.

The most important goal here is unseating Ann Kuster, we just happen to think Steve Negron has the best chance to do that.

Both this Author and GraniteGrok.com have endorsed Steve Negron in the NH CD2 Republican Primary.
