Cornerstone is pleased to endorse Dave Wheeler for Executive Council District 5. Mr. Wheeler is a five-term executive councilman. Additionally, he served as a state senator from 1992-1998 and a state representative from 1988-1992. He currently serves on the Board of Governors for Christian Home Educators of NH.

Since he was first elected to office in 1988, Dave Wheeler has consistently defended life and conscience rights. In 1994, he was lead sponsor of SB 712, a bill to keep abortion coverage out of state health insurance for children. He co-sponsored a 1996 bill to study how individuals might elect not to pay for abortion coverage in health insurance policies. He also co-sponsored a 1997 bill to prevent the state employees’ health plan from covering abortions.
Mr. Wheeler is the owner of Miracle Acres Farms, where he grows Christmas trees and produces maple syrup. He and his wife, Joy, have four children and two foster children.
Executive Council District 5 represents the cities and towns of Amherst, Antrim, Bennington, Brookline, Deering, Dunbarton, Fitzwilliam, Francestown, Greenfield, Greenville, Hillsborough, Hollis, Hudson, Jaffrey, Litchfield, Lyndeborough, Mason, Merrimack, Milford, Mont Vernon, New Boston, New Ipswich, Peterborough, Richmond, Rindge, Sharon, Swanzey, Temple, Troy, Weare, Wilton, Windsor, and the city of Nashua.
