We are no longer in an epidemic, that’s what the CDC is now saying. Yet, our rights and freedoms have not been restored. And why is that? Could it have anything to do with our megalomaniacal leadership and their love of control? Gee… I wonder.

Our governor started New Hampshire’s “fit of socialism” with his declaration of a state of emergency. The declaration was made via executive order 2020-04. That action took effect on March 13, 2020. A declaration of a state of emergency in New Hampshire, by statute, lasts for no more than 21 days.
Yet here we are the last week of July, with no epidemic, still under a state of emergency. How does that happen? Why do we tolerate this? Why are no media outlets even asking the question? So why again, did you suspend the U.S. Constitution?
How did we get to the end of July still under a declared state of emergency?
Well, the how we got here is pretty easy to understand. The law, as written, allows the governor to declare a state of emergency. He can do so for whatever reason he sees fit to claim. The emergency expires after 21 days unless the governor takes action. The governor can end it before 21 days. The governor can also extend the emergency declaration. No legislative concurrence is required. No need must be shown. That is how we got here.
The governor said in executive order 2020-04 there was an outbreak of respiratory illness. It was due to a novel coronavirus. And it has impacted more than 117 countries. Great Excellency, was it in New Hampshire? Were there a great number of cases here? Is it demonstrably more lethal than other common corona type viruses? Was there anything more than fear backing your action? Currently, none of those questions seems to be answerable in the affirmative.
At the time your executive order cites specifically 4,613 deaths worldwide… worldwide. The world has over 7,000,000,000 people. So novel coronavirus had killed 0.0000659% of the population. That means less than 6.59 persons per every 100,000 people. The most virulent reaction was in China. China is not friendly to the United States. China is not known for its sharing of accurate, timely, factual information.
The governor said in executive order 2020-04 that the World Health Organization has made a declaration. It is a Public Health Emergency of International Concern on January 30, 2020. Good observation Excellency, but what has transpired since?
When will you stop infringing with our rights… for our own good
Has the United States government found any additional information since that time? Did we find out the WHO is not accurately communicating information in a timely manner? Has the United States government taken any action as a result of what they learned? Did the United States stop funding the WHO? Why did we do that?
The governor said the State of New Hampshire has been working in close collaboration with the CDC. Excellency, is the CDC now reporting the level of cases below the epidemic stage? Has New Hampshire gotten rid of the emergency declaration? Why not? If there is no epidemic why are you not ending the state of emergency? Why are we still dealing with these restrictions?
The hospitals in New Hampshire are not in danger of being overwhelmed. In fact, as you well know, they are removing the preparation made for an epidemic. They are attempting to return to something closer to business as usual. You know financial harm came to the hospitals by your actions. You know people are deferring many procedures which might have extended their lives or improved their quality.
Excellency, in your best judgment you suspended the constitution of the United States in March. Within the borders of New Hampshire, you made your executive orders the Law. We have had our First Amendment rights trampled for four months. By what rationale do you refuse to lift your declaration?
Excellency, it is time to end this state of emergency. Stop the suspension of the U.S. Constitution. Mr. Governor, let my people go.
