We are starting to become “life by race quotas” – no more will we have the traditional “hard work, grit, and entrepreneurial spirit” as the road to success in life. Sadly, the insanity that the Left has been brewing in the Socialist witches cauldron has spurted out from the colleges and into the rest of our lives.

“BIPOC” is “Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.” I imagine the ideological spectrum won’t be nearly so diverse.
But I look at the percentages and they go WAY higher than the general population breakdowns. So I see lawyers in CBS’s future. Sadly (well, not so sad) – but it is a confirmation that the Left will eat its own and in this case, CBS is trying to be a shining example of the two hunters in the woods when a grizzly comes speeding out at them…the punchline being “no, I’m not scared of getting caught; I only have to outrun you”.
Such a way to run a Society. This is starting to become 1984 (sideways) where it isn’t Government ramming doubleplusgoodthink down our throats, it is what used to be CIVIL Society doing it to ourselves.
And no, the ideological spectrum will be LESS diverse because in order to get a job, one will have to have the right skin color AND LeftThinkism. It’s like many colleges – you aren’t going to be invited to the faculty lounge unless you possess the right “disposition” and the Democrat Socialist Association membership card.
It’s segregation based on skin AND worldview all over again. Be that quota person or no entering the door (like Jim Crow, only this is de facto instead of de jure).
We’re already seeing it all around us where people are cowering in silence and those that speak out are getting Canceled by the same ideological mob. You know, like radio station WSMN 1590 AM that just threw Dianna Ploss off their station schedule. Sure, their station, their right. It’s also our Right of Free Speech to tell them “Congrats, COWARDS! I hope you get caught by the bear Mob some other way.
Regardless of whether you agree with her or not, we are at a dangerous crossroads in America where simply expressing a political opinion, however inarticulately you may think it is, shouldn’t be cause to be fired. They knew who she was, how she talked, and the issues she cared about. They KNEW. And they put out this mealy-mouthed apology/non-apology that is self-inconsistent:

So, Bartis-Russell Broadcasting, LLC, you “value freedom of speech, freedom of expression” until you feel embarrassed or you think it will hurt your business? That’s not “valuing” anything but your bottom line. If you DID “value” it, you’d be standing up to the Mob that hates most of your lineup anyways. But appeasement, appeasement, appeasement.
Unless the rest of us start standing up in their faces and screaming “UP YOURS!”.
Sorry, I digressed from the CBS story but this is a live example of the Cancel Movement. We’re seeing it all over the place nowadays. Heck, remember: NH State Rep Jan Schmidt tried to Cancel GraniteGrok twice! First by trying to get our hosting company to can us because of “hate speech” and then by trying to do HB1159 and back door us using lawfare. We stood up to their bullying to be able to continue to speak our minds. Perhaps WSMN should take a lesson from us in how to handle the Progressive “hate any speech, not ours” Mob.
