Sununu Caves on Beaches Day Before ReopenNH Rally to “Storm Them”

His Excellency, the Governor, will allow people to do more than just walk on New Hampshire’s beaches and swim in the ocean. An announcement this morning – expected, we had heard things – allows people to use the actual beach. Sit on it. Sunbathe. Be beachy with each other.

Sununu opens beaches

Sunbathing and other traditional beach activities may resume on seacoast beaches, effective immediately. Beachgoers must still remain 6 feet from other groups.

We’ve always said we’d work with Public Health to be nimble with our decisions based on public health data, and we thank everyone for their patience.

The Governor has a planned 3 pm press conference. Can we expect him to continue to be nimble, or will we get another week in our political prison?

We will have to wait to find out.
