Donald Trump’s first rally since the National Emergency began months ago is today, in Tulsa, OK. A massive crowd is expected inside and out, with well over a million ticket requests for the event. And let’s say, certain militant groups, view this as an opportunity.

The Mayor of Tulsa has imposed a curfew for several blocks around the event center based on intelligence that groups involved in violence in other states may be traveling to Tulsa.
“As Mayor, I have received information from the Tulsa Police Department and other law enforcement agencies that shows that individuals from organized groups who have been involved in destructive or violent behavior in other states are planning to travel to the City of Tulsa for purposes of causing unrest in and around the rally,” the order states.
The city is in the process of barricading off the area and enforcing the emergency order, but reporters on the ground say there is currently no enforcement taking place.
“There is a curfew, but it is not being enforced on these guys as long as they are behaving, essentially — as long as they are not causing any trouble,” Perdie said, noting that the situation could change.
“There’s going to be a shift change, at which point there could be different action potentially, but right now, it’s just not being enforced,” he added.
The Tulsa Police Department, in its official statement, stated that people who refuse to leave the area “may be cited or arrested.”
I do not doubt that Antifa will infiltrate the crowd and the event, but I wonder if they have any idea what they are getting themselves in to here? No one will get past security with weapons to cause trouble inside, but that’s probably not the plan. These events attract massive overflow crowds. Mixing with people outside during the event would not be difficult. But we’re talking about an event with secret service lead-security details.
If some punk does something and gets caught, even if they can manage not to be associated with the now-domestic-terror group Antifa, federal agents may decide to press federal charges. Assuming they survive the beating, they’ll get from the Trump supporters defending themselves and those around them.
This isn’t your typical snowflake crowd. Even organized acts by Antifa will be met with significant pushback.
I guess the question is when it’s over, if something happens, what are the optics?
Does Antifa look like the same batch of angry cowards who pulled down a statue of George Washington, or do they look like punks who got beat-down because an army of American patriots caught them pulling down a statue of George Washington?
And how exactly does this create a wedge between Trump voters and the President? No matter what happens, I think it makes them stronger, not weaker.
Here’s to hoping nothing happens, and the point is moot.
