Housekeeping – Campaign Announcements and Other Items of (Potential) Interest

by
Steve MacDonald

I wanted to share a quick note about all the filing announcements for public office. This is the week for them, and we get more than a few, and we need to do things differently this time around.

ICYMI –  Do Not Believe the Democrat’s Sudden Concern for Protecting Peaceful Protest

Right column screen grabJust below the Daily Grok sign up Block in the right column, you will find “New Media News From Around NH.” This is (typically) where I share links to content from other Freedom and Liberty or Conservatarian blogs or sites in the Granite State. We are now linking candidate filing announcements there.

The ten most recent are visible, but if you click See More Local News, you will travel to the New Media Militia page where you can see every link we have ever shared there.

If you have a browser link to your content we will link it. If you do not we will create a PDF, save that on the Grok, and link to the saved file.

The second place on the home page, you can look in the Block dedicated to “Important Stuff We Didn’t Have Time to Blog About.” It’s below the first 20 posts on the front page.

Important stuff screen grab

This section is traditionally reserved for links to stories we found and liked and wanted to save so we could find them later, and we figured, why not share them with our readers. You know, in case we never got around to them.

We’re hijacking that feature for filing announcements as well, though, much like the New Media feature, you may see other items between them.

Inclusion is not an endorsement, and exclusion is not necessarily any sort of statement either. We have full-time jobs, families, and lives, and we miss things, so don’t take it personally unless you want too, but that’s on you. We won’t lose any sleep.

Take a moment to glance at the items, click on a few, and stay up to date on the whirlwind or just use them to find news and opinion from other online portals around the state.

There is no cost, and no one pays or gets paid, as usual, for any of this. We do reserve the right to exclude anyone we think is a RINO shill for no other reason than that we think it.

Note1: We have a special arrangement with the 603 Alliance to publish one op-ed or announcement by each candidate who qualifies and avails themselves of their campaign training. And as a matter of disclosure, two Grok Authors are on the 603 Alliance Board of Directors, Jim Kofalt, and myself. Several other Groksters are either founding members of the 603 Alliance or function in support roles to the organization.

Note2: If you have something we might want to share or operate a website with content, we might include, email me @steve@granitegrok.com.

Note3: Groksters who are running for office can promote themselves and their campaign on Granitegrok whenever they feel the urge.
