Poll Question: Should Gov Sununu Extend the NH State of Emergency Another 21-Days?

Should Governor Sununu extend his State of Emergency for NH another 21 days? We don’t think so, but that’s just us. Not even all of us. A few Groksters think the Gov is doing us right. They are welcome to that opinion. You may agree or not, and we’re here to have that conversation.

For the most part, we’ve been hard on the Gubbnuh. No denying it. And it has cost us some page views. But we think he’s trampling on the constitution, liberty, property, religious rights, the right to assemble (for example). We would not be us (or at least most of us) if we did not object.

And we didn’t start out that way. In the early days, when we had nothing to work with, we were willing and supportive of a two week (or even three week) intermission.

The data, since then, in our minds, is conclusive. We were frightened unnecessarily then made into political prisoners of the response. And we believe that the loss of rights and liberty will have a higher cost than the virus.

You are welcome to disagree and we encourage and embrace that. Sadly, not everyone wants to give us the same quarter. We’re sorry to disappoint you but if we scrapped our principles to protect the career of one politician we disagree with, where exactly does that end?

Having said all that, we’re still interested in giving you a platform to agree or disagree with us. Our last Sununu poll produced results very favorable to his Excellency. We’re giving you the chance to do that again.

A few weeks have become a few months. The current State of Emergency ends next week (on June 5th). Is the slow roll how you roll, or do we need to take our foot off the break?

Given what we know now, Should Gov Sununu Extend the NH State of Emergency Another 21-Days?
