Over at The Conservative Treehouse.com Sundance wants to know what is going on in everyone’s areas. What the compliance looks like. “Ground Reports from the Rebel Alliance,” it says.
There is this cool picture there of a protest and a poster front and center that says “Live Free or Die” I thought it was ours, but then I see one in the back that says “Re-Open Florida”:
As a NH native, I gotta tell ya, when I see these Live Free or Die signs around the country, it always makes me so proud that our motto has such a powerful impact on people.
I often think that this quote would just be another one in a dusty book somewhere had we [here in NH -Skip] not dusted it off and called it our own. And THIS is why I get so mad when they mess with it and reduce it down to Live Free. It’s reducing down A People and a Belief System, it’s who we are here.
This is also why what is being done to the very people here that are the essence of our motto is all that much more maddening, frightening, appalling (what even is a powerful enough word?)
I don’t know what is going on in the background here w/Sununu, but I will not vote for him again. And I think we are going to have a big problem on our side about what we are going to do, I hope someone is paying attention to this. I don’t want them to win, but our family has been turned upside yet again and I won’t vote for him. We are too old now to even sort this mess out again.
I’ve never been so pissed here in all my life because it’s so blantantly obvious that we are being held as political prisoners. There is mountains of data now that says this is not needed, necessary and some that even says we need to create herd immunity and we are being denied this because they want another outbreak around the election.
No one is being fooled by this anymore.
I don’t think the Governor has any clue about the level of anger, when WE are out in the streets, that says a lot because we don’t typically roll like that.
I have a Hospitalist in my family and even she is pissed off, she has one patient in the Keene hospital with COVID19. ONE. And she is very worried about the financial stability of her hospital. I would assume that they are all feeling this way there, it’s not like they all aren’t looking at the same thing.
