I’m not sure if this will gain momentum or how long this will last but condemnations of Sen. Chuck Schumer’s threatening Supreme Court Justices Gorsuch and Kavanaugh have risen from unexpected places.

Tribe is a noted leftist.
The Daily Signal also reports the American Bar Association took umbrage at Schumer’s antics.
“The American Bar Association is deeply troubled by today’s statements from the Senate minority leader threatening two sitting justices of the U.S. Supreme Court over their upcoming votes in a pending case,” ABA President Judy Perry Martinez said in a formal statement. “Whatever one thinks about the merits of an issue before a court, there is no place for threats—whether real or allegorical.”
The Bar like most such institutions is a creature of the left so this suggests disappointment among members in general about the conduct, though there will be plenty who disagree. The Supreme Court is the pinnacle of the progressive legislative end-around. But if the courts cannot be relied upon to do the Democrat’s bidding, and, in fact, undo it, what use do they have for it?
None.
And President Trump has done more than any modern president to halt and reverse the left’s conquest of this “institution.” Detractors will be more than pleased with the scope and intensity of Sen. Schumer’s remarks. But Republicans have done a good job of capitalizing on Schumer’s mistake.
Senate Republicans have also issued a resolution to Censure Sen. Schumer over the threats. A rare occurrence in the chamber but one that could find bipartisan support (though not much) with Senators who are at risk in swing states and don’t want this attached to them as we head toward November.
