One of our readers just sent me a very interesting email. She was listening to WKBK and she heard the dulcet tones of long-time New Hampshire Democrat Party Chairman, Raymond Buckley. He’s not very positive about the turnout.
Ray Buckley just said, “We never expected a blockbuster turnout.”
Never?
Or did you not expect that after you saw what happened with turnout in Iowa?
Do you know what that means?
Republican turnout for support of the President could exceed the turnout for Democrat candidates, none of who appear to be very appealing to Democrats but who are, for some strange reason, appealing to Never-Trumpers.
Do you know what that means?
Those candidates are not going to be all that appealing to anyone else in the General Election (except Never-Trumpers) and Democrats know that. And there aren’t enough Never-Trumpers to make even a sliver of a difference.
It behooves us to show up en masse and send a statement. Tomorrow, for the primary and in November for the General.
We’re excited about our President. We like the direction in which this nation is headed. We want to see that work continue. And we’re committed to giving him a congress that will aid and abet the goal of Keeping America Great.
And we might just want to see Democrats cry again on election night. Maybe. Just a little.
