PETA Forcing Punxsutawney Phil Into Retirement – Greta Thunberg Suggested as Replacement

Groundhog abuse is apparently a problem PETA is committed to solving. A mammal living large at the expense of others, wanting for nothing, performing upon request. I’m talking about Punxsutawney Phil, although the same could be said of Greta Thunberg.

Both fit the profile but PETA only seems concerned about the large ground squirrel (by which I mean Phil).

While PETA has been calling for an “animatronic” groundhog robot to replace Phil, the groundhog committee felt that wouldn’t be believable, and since the same sort of people that believe in the reliability of rodent-based weather forecasting, would also likely believe Greta Thunberg’s climate prognostications, the committee decided she would be a better and more believable fit than a robot.

This makes as much sense to me as anything else I’ve heard about climate alarmism.

It does. But they’ll have a hard time limiting Greta to one day in February. And as the cartoon attests, it would be every day. Because Climate is something we all share, like Government. Even though some of us share more of it than others, with an emphasis on the new definition of ‘share.’ An act of force put upon you at your expense whether you want it or not.

Personally I’d replace Phil with a self-serve kiosk. They’re all the rage and people get to pick and choose from a menu of options. Greta only comes with one setting.

Cartoon care of Josh c/o WUWT – they’d appreciate it if you’d buy him a pint here. We encourage your support as well.
