Chris Pappas and Ann Kuster Look the Other Way When Given a Chance to Support Women and Gays in Iran

Neither of our Pro-Mullah Congressional Democrats from New Hampshire will support the people of Iran. They voted yea on a parliamentary move that blocked the progress of a resolution to show US support for people protesting the Islamic Regime.

Pappas and Kuster joined the partisan 226-191 vote to move along. Let’s not do anything to upset their Iranian Islamic Republic allies, or something. Just like Obama, the last time the people of Iran protested in large numbers. He looked away, and they got crushed by the regime.

You’d think, given the more recent abuses, these so-called defenders of women’s and gay rights would be more willing to step up. Ann Kuster is a woman, Chris ‘Norovirus‘ Pappas is gay. But nope. Nothing to see here.

Democrats in the House of Representatives blocked a vote Tuesday to support the protesters in Iran who are demonstrating against the regime. … In addition, the resolution; “(3) condemns the Government of Iran for repeatedly lying to its people and to the world about its responsibility for the downing of Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752; (4) calls on the Government of Iran to— (A) refrain from the use of violence; and (B) protect the rights of freedom of expression and peaceful assembly; and (5) supports the protestors in Iran, their demands for accountability, and their desire for the Government of Iran to respect freedom and human rights.”

I guess 400 dead women weren’t enough?

“What a disappointment —Democrats just blocked a vote on a resolution supporting the Iranian protestors. This is not the time for partisan politics. This should be a time for the US Congress to speak with one voice to condemn an Iranian regime that kills its own people,” House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy said in a tweet.
