Fade into disgruntled Pennsylvania Trump Voter. It’s part of a 5 million dollar Ad Campaign by American Bridge. He regrets voting for Trump. Add some class warfare rhetoric. A little anti-elitism. Leave out the part where the guy never even voted in 2016.
In an ad, Mr. Graham states, “I voted for Donald Trump in 2016 because I thought he would make a change.” But he laments the change was “not for the good,” and complains that the president “plays favorites for people like himself … he doesn’t understand life around here.”
He was also featured in two New York Times articles about dissatisfied Trump voters and swing voters. The Times has since issued corrections and verified that Mr. Graham did not vote in 2016.
The ad is a flat-out left-wing projection, drafted in the dank narrative mills under the beltway. And everything about it is a lie except that the man featured is a Pennsylvania resident who since 2016 has registered as a Republican.
As for understanding “life around here,” American Bridge is the only party guilty of that. The University of Pennsylvania reported that racism in the state has declined during the Trump Presidency. And Donald Trump’s support for fracking created or saved (where have I heard that before?) 40,000 jobs in the state with more likely to come online. Fracking is the economic future of the Keystone State – replacing all the lost coal jobs and then some. But Trump’s opponents ( the folks American Bridge want instead) promise to kill those jobs on day one.
The Republican Party is demanding the Ad’s creators take it down and apologize for lying. I think the GOP should feature the ad and the deception in Republican counter-ads and include how not voting Trump will cost tens-of-thousands of jobs across the state.
Look, Democrats lie. They never admit it, and they are not sorry they do it. It’s the only way to sell their socialist agenda even when they are openly socialist about it. So, use that to paint them into a corner.
It’s the thing the Left can’t stand about Trump. He won’t lay down. He keeps pushing back. Don’t be George Bush, “Be Trump.”
Keep rubbing their faces in it. When they deflect say as much and hit them with it again. Drag the DNC and the PA Dem party in and put them on the hook with the liars at American Bridge.
Just do it!
