Back in April, we shared the City of San Francisco’s poop map. A feature of the modern liberal utopia. An increasingly two-class system where you have elites and streets. One has indoor plumbing; the other has outdoor “plumbing.”
Income disparities have reached epidemic proportions in major liberal enclaves – to the point of actual epidemics. Los Angeles ‘enjoys’ rising rat infestations and third-world disease outbreaks. San Francisco continues to battle with the Federal EPA over waste-water discharge into public waters. A problem, no doubt exacerbated by the 35% rise in reported public pooping.
The rental site Rent Hop examined the number-two numbers across SF for 2018 and 2019 to date. According to their analysis, in 2018, SF 311 received 28,315 animal/human waste complaints, compared to more than 20,800 the year before, an increase of about 35 percent year over year.
The site also notes that so far for 2019, the count jumped to more than 25,000 calls, up seven percent compared to the same time in 2018.
So, 2019 is looking like another record-setting year for moving your bowels in harmony with nature in the Shity by the Bay. A Shity that is refusing to prosecute “quality of life crimes.”
“We will not prosecute cases involving quality-of-life crimes,” he said. “Crimes such as public camping, offering or soliciting sex, public urination, blocking a sidewalk, etc., should not and will not be prosecuted. Many of these crimes are still being prosecuted; we have a long way to go to decriminalize poverty and homelessness.”
Muggings, burglary, and robbery are acts designed to improve one’s quality of life. You have it, and I don’t, so give it to me now. By the new DA’s thinking, it won’t be long before being assaulted by vagrants, or anyone (for that matter) becomes a public form of the redistribution of wealth that will be common and not prosecuted in San Francisco. unless you defend yourself. Then they’ll drop the hammer on you.
Because Democrat policy is founded on the idea of legalized theft. The progressive experiment cannot proceed without an increasing sum of other people’s property. Making excuses (and laws) for why this theft should be legal consumes the entirety of the average Democrat’s day.
The only cure for that, and everything else brought on by years of Democrat rule is to stop electing Democrats.
