The Democrat’s and the media (pardon the redundancy) have been working storylines surrounding the Ukraine Call. Testimony (more like therapy) about how people felt about the call. Their hunches and opinions peddled as facts. It’s a joke. We can read the transcript.
If you want to know what was said, you can read the entire thing and decide how you feel. Maybe share it with an independent voter or two.
Anyone not infected with Trump Derangement Syndrome will discover an alarming truth. No amount of opinion or feeling will change the facts. There’s nothing actionable in the transcript. Nothing.
See also, no evidence.
That’s not to say there’s no evidence related to the impeachment process. Many of these players involved in the fake investigation have done things that warrant scrutiny. Not the least of which is the leader of the witch hunt, Adam Schiff. With that in mind, Devin Nunes, ranking Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, made an announcement.
Their first witness will be Adam Schiff.
Clearly, calling the repellent Schiff to testify hardly means he will actually testify. After all, he is calling all of the shots.
But the reality is that at least one member of Schiff’s staff met with the so-called whistleblower before he submitted his complaint to Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson. On a September 17th appearance on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Schiff was asked if his staff had had any contact with the whistleblower prior to the date the complaint was filed. His reply? “We have not spoken directly with the whistleblower. We would like to.” When it was later reported that there had been contact, Schiff expressed regret and said he should have been more clear.
The Circus calls the ringleader. And there is a precedent for it. But the odds are good Schiff will refuse to subpoena himself and will reject any Republican request to be interviewed voluntarily.
To which Republicans will (or should) say, Adam Schiff is obstructing the investigation.
It’s not as if Schiff was not at the center of it all before it was anything at all.
Not that it is, we can read the transcript. Something neither Schiff nor any of his ‘witnesses’ has done.
Maybe they read Adam Schiff’s reenactment version?
One of Schiff’s star witnesses admitted he has zero firsthand knowledge of @realDonaldTrump’s objectives with Ukraine and never communicated with the President.
So what’s his source for his false accusations of a quid pro quo? The New York Times.
