Late putting this up but my time hasn’t been under my control for almost a month now, so apologies!  This past Saturday, NH State Rep Harry Bean organized four of the local social clubs to fundraise some monies for the Fallen 7 + 1; those members of the Jarhead Motorcycle Club that were killed plus the one survivor.

The Laconia VFW hosted the NH State Championship Arm Wrestling tournament (the Ronny Bean Classic). The Laconia Elks held a corn hole tournament. The Laconia American Legion did a horse she tournament. And the Laconia Rod and Gun did both a pool and dart tournaments.

Food, commemorative coins, T-Shirts, Food, auctions, and raffles were all a part of each club’s participation for the event.

ALL proceeds went to the Fallen 7.

I did get the chance to quickly talk with Harry Bean (NH State Rep – Gilford/Meredith), and Hillary Seeger (VFW Laconia Chaplain), about the tournament.

Note: listen to the back and forth between Hillary and I on the importance of volunteerism in matters like this.
