Judge Reverses Jury Decision Involving Custody of 7-Year Old Boy Mom Wants to Transition to a Girl

Yesterday I breezed through the case of separated parents and a mom who wants to transition her son from boy to girl. The jury ruling was over custody and medical care rights. By awarding sole custody to the mom she was free to proceed with his transition. The judge just overruled that.

A jury had earlier decided that Dr. Anne Georgulas would have sole custody and power of medical decisions for the child and his twin brother Jude. That would allow her to continue the process of transitioning him from a boy to a girl, including hormone therapy.

But on Thursday, Judge Kim Cooks said that Dr. Georgulas and Younger would have joint conservatorship over the boy.

Under joint custody and care, the mom cannot ignore the father’s interest concerning James Younger or his twin brother.

The case, which has attracted global interest and outrage will probably continue on appeal. The mom, Dr. Anne Georgulas, seems determined to turn one of her twin boys into a girl. She’s been grooming the 7-year old since he was three. She is putting him in dresses, painting his nails and doing all the stereotypical girly things that probably drive neo-feminists to outrage.

This will not be the end of this story.

If you’re looking for more, American Thinker has an interview with an advocate for James, who was at the trial here.

The Daily Wire has some good background and news about Texas Gov. Abbott’s interest in the case.

We’ve already made the point that allowing the mom to poison a child with massive amounts of hormones is child abuse, so I’ll leave you with that.
