Breaking: Hinsdale New Hampshire in Lock Down after Explosives Found in Indian Acres

The Hinsdale New Hampshire police have issued an alert regarding a location in Indian hills. Apparently, multiple explosive devices are on the property.

Located in Cheshire County, on the Vermont border, this town of slightly more than 4000 residents is in lockdown.

The Hinsdale Police is currently working at a location in Indian Acres where numerous explosive devices have been located in an abandoned home. The NH State Police EOD Team, Hinsdale Fire and multiple police agencies are assisting. Access to Indian Acres is restricted and evacuations of homes in the area are occurring. The Schools are in a lock-in status meaning no children are allowed outside but school is progressing as normal. This will be a long term event and we will update the community as we have more information.

We’ll report more details if and when we have them.

Note: Map Pin does not indicate the location of any explosive devices. It is flagging the general area of Indian Acres. The police have not released an exact location at this time.
