Americans for Prosperity Foundation New Hampshire frequently hosts classes to educate and train activists to be more effective. Next weekend they’ll host a Bootcamp, a one day activist training session, in their Portsmouth office.
Having graduated their Grassroots Leadership Academy levels I and II, I can attest to the quality of their training programs. Also, they feed you, and it’s always good food. They bring in trainers from around the country and have both broad training sessions coupled with very specific ones. If you have a day to spare, this is a worthwhile venture.
The Bootcamp is specifically tailored towards Granite State activists and will focus on “building coalitions, intro to media, maintaining community bonds, identifying/recruiting activists, and building a relationship with your local reporter.”
