Professor Who Survived the SJW War Machine Has Some Advice and an Idea

Mitchell Langbert, an associate professor of business at Brooklyn College, made a joke about the Kavanaugh hearing. The left tried to destroy him for it. He survived and has some advice to share that sounds similar to things we’ve been saying for years.

First, don’t apologize.

The odds are good you said or did nothing wrong. The Libs are just triggered trolls looking for a scalp. They are mean, hateful, and tireless, but that doesn’t make them right.

Second, look for support.

Without getting into weeds on his story, it is a worthwhile read, he concluded it with this, the most pressing of points.

Having gone through the experience unscathed and better off, I am concerned that many others who have been outed by the left-wing, authoritarian mob lack defenses. My case is exceptional because of my public university, First Amendment, and tenure protections.

I have contacted a number of leading conservatives and suggested that steps be taken to organize a support-and-activist group. Such a group could include a response group that might overwhelm media and corporate Antifa sympathizers with protest emails as well as an advisory group that could provide guidance to victims. So far, I have heard nothing back. Unfortunately, conservative and libertarian leaders continue to suffer from a political wimpiness that ensures failure.

For all the flack we take for calling out Republicans when they wander away from their own platform and the US and New Hampshire Constitutions, we’ve been there for them — defending those on the right targeted for destruction by the left. Watching as other Republicans and the NHGOP whimper.

I’m not the first to say this, but the current NHGOP leadership is cut from a different cloth. They appear ready to fight for our ideals, priorities, and people. And we welcome them. Not that we’d have stopped had they continued their timid ways.

But to Professor Langbert’s point. It’s been proposed in one form or another in the past. Perhaps, given our new prominence in New Hampshire media we should consider building the sort of support group, at least in the Granite State, the Langbert proposes.

Thoughts?
