ICYMI! GrokMeetup – 8/28 (Wednesday) at Grokster Norm’s in Gilford NH 6:30 – 10pm

If you love views of Lake Winnipesaukee, you’ll just DIE when you see what your eye can spy from Grokster Norm’s abode.  High up on the hills directly over the Big Lake, you can see down to Alton, up to Meredith, and across the Broads. Wonderful view for our next GrokMeetup

We’ll be in what I obviously call “the Viewing Room” large enough for a whole lot of us yakking about culture, candidates, races, and politics in general as we have before.

BONUS: Norm and I will have a “MicroChili cookoff”.  I love chili dogs that are HOT and make my own and he has his Boy Scout recipe; you’ll get to decide whose reigns supreme (yes, stealing that line from the Iron Chef cooking show). Bring your own if you want to compete. UPDATE: in just talking with Norm, it looks like the “chile ante” is going upwards.  Should be fun (and delish!)

Other light fare will be provided (e.g., finger food, cookies)

When:    August 28, 2019
Time:      6:30pm – 10:00 pm
Where:   243 Mountain Drive, Gilford NH
Cost:       $5 charge, per normal to cover that “light” fare. Cash, the DONATE button above, or if you want, I can create an EventBrite event for tickets.

Future meetings:

  • Mid September: Windham
  • October: The Pub in Keene NH
  • November: Murphy’s Taproom in Manchester
  • December?  We need a place out in the Seacoast that likes folks like us (have already been rejected by a few places so I’m open for suggestions).

Keep watching for more details!

Update: Original post title had 6/28 instead of 8/28 this has been corrected
