Planned Parenthood isn’t all that interested in Women’s Health. Or their care. They terminate life. When that goes sideways, and a long-time employee reports it, that person gets fired. And in this case, she takes them to court.
Mayra Rodriguez, who ran three Planned Parenthood clinics in Arizona and worked for the organization for 17 years, sued the non-profit after being wrongfully terminated from her position in October 2017 after repeatedly making claims that Planned Parenthood was endangering the health and safety of their patients.
Mayra is the next (or perhaps the latest), Abby Johnson.
“When Mayra came to And Then There Were None with her incredible story, I felt solidarity with her, having gone through a similar situation when I worked for Planned Parenthood. Standing with her through the trial and rejoicing in the ultimate victory has been amazing,” said Abby Johnson, a former Planned Parenthood director herself and founder and director of And Then There Were None, a ministry that has helped over 525 abortion workers leave their jobs.
What were Mayra’s “crimes” against Planned Parenthood for which she was terminated? “[R]eporting high complication rates for one Doctor, illegal conduct of the doctor, falsification of affidavits and patient records, incomplete abortions, and failure to report a minor who had an adult partner.”
She was concerned about women’s actual health and care. And the Democrat thugs at Planned Parenthood to destroy her.
Where the heck is trust-busting Liz Warren, Bernie Sanders, or the rest of the Democrat castaways from reality?
Mayra, an undocumented worker, a person of color, and a woman, trying to protect other women’s lives. Concerned over the quality of their “health care.” A whistleblower against obvious corporate greed and malfeasance. It’s an identity politics Left-Wing Narrative goldmine!
This should have been a story with which we are all familiar. Brought up at every campaign stop across New Hampshire. The lead story on cable news, every hour. So, why the ideological and institutional blackout?
Because none of those things about Mayra or the women she was fighting for is more important to the Left than protecting a deep-pocketed political ally.
And no, I never get tired of pointing out how the left shows you what is truly important to them.
Power. Nothing else matters. Not women, nor their ‘Health.’
