Democrats Are Still Trying to Strong Arm Nuns into Doing “The Hordes Work”

Remember when The Obama Administration strong-armed little Sisters of the Poor? They wanted them to offer contraception services in their health plans or else. The Supreme Court said, more or less, no. But these Nuns are back in court again.

The government’s mandate that birth control must be provided to all continues to plague them like Locust. In the form of the states of Pennsylvania and California. What the hell is wrong with these people?

I’ve got altered Pink Floyd lyrics in my head. Hey. Liberals, Leave these nuns alone!

No chance.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit will hear arguments on Tuesday in Commonwealth of Pennsylvania v. Trump as a result of Attorney General Josh Shapiro’s lawsuit, threatening the sisters’ exemption from the Health and Human Services birth control mandate. Their exemption was finalized last year following a five-year legal battle that went all the way to the Supreme Court and made religious liberty a buzz-worthy issue even before Masterpiece Cakeshop.

This lawsuit, and the one similarly perpetuated by California Attorney General Xavier Becerra, exists solely to stomp on the religious liberties of a group of women serving the poor and needy. It has nothing to do with anyone’s violation of the law.

I’m crowdsourcing this. I want you dear readers to ask Democrats, anyone you can find. Why is your party hounding nuns over contraception?

Let me know what you get for an answer.
