No one expected New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu to run for the US Senate. Not until polling, released earlier this year, showed him tied with Sen. Jeanne Shaheen. So, I guess he considered it then decided what he thought was best for New Hampshire.
“Tonight I’m announcing my intention to run for Governor in 2020.” …
We are getting the job done…more people are working today in New Hampshire than at any time in history. We have one of the lowest unemployment rates in the nation and wages are at an all time high.
What is also clear is that the Democrat’s agenda in New Hampshire has become more radical than any of us ever believed possible. This is highlighted by the fact that the Democrats in Concord, for the first time in history, put an income tax bill on the Governor’s desk. We stood up for New Hampshire citizens and vetoed that bill, but more Washington, DC extremism is on its way.
This is true. The Democrat majority in Concord wasted no time dumping their Hope Chest and pinning every wish to a legisaltive service request. These bills have passed through the State like sh*t through a goose. And with few exceptions, has public opposition slowed their course.
Nothing is more critical to our state’s future than ensuring strong leadership in the Corner Office and saving our New Hampshire Advantage.
While we have had our disagreements with Gov. Sununu and will have more, he represents the best barrier to the Left’s destructive policies.
Knowing what we know now, whatever happens in 2020 the Granite State needs to re-elect Chris Sununu as Governor of New Hampshire.
