It may not mean anything. After all, San Fran Nan doesn’t have control of her raucous caucus. But she says she does not favor impeaching President Trump. Why? Swallow any liquids before you read this. It divides the country.
“I’m not for impeachment. This is news. I’m going to give you some news right now because I haven’t said this to any press person before,” Pelosi said while being interviewed by The Washington Post. “But since you asked, and I’ve been thinking about this: Impeachment is so divisive to the country that unless there’s something so compelling and overwhelming and bipartisan, I don’t think we should go down that path, because it divides the country.”
“And he’s just not worth it,” she continued.
Is the Democrat party going to change its platform, tactics, priorities? Division is what they do.
I do agree that it is not politically “worth it.” And not just because everything else she says tries to contradict that. While she agrees with the Democrat position that Mr. Trump is unfit, it is,
“…up to us to make the contrast to show that this president, while he may be appealing to you on your insecurity and therefore your xenophobia, whether it’s globalization or immigrants, is fighting clean air for your children to breathe, clean water for them to drink, food safety, every good thing that we should be doing that people can’t do for themselves,”
And she just punched herself in the face.
Nothing in that statement appeals to Trump voters. And most independents will want to take a more extended look. And it is not going to be a good look. Her House is using its power to sift endlessly through the lives of not just Mr. Trump, but his family, business associates, and everyone he knows. The goal? Find a reason to bring charges against him or anyone around him.
That is the Democrat Campaign poster for 2020
If Democrats disagree with you, they won’t just call you names, they’ll call your supporter’s names, smear them, doxx, them, harass them in public, silence their speech, or use the media to rhetorically hang them in the court of public opinion. They will use the full force of the state to find a reason to charge you, try you, and convict you, whoever you are because they oppose you politically.
Yeah, I want to live in that country.
Not.
The Left was safer pushing for impeachment than death by a thousand cuts. Now you just look like tyrants. Average Americans will feel sympathy for the President as they grow weary of your endless whining and empty accusations. And after two years of Meuller amounting to nothing?
No one wants to live in that country but the moment you got power this is what you did with it.
Ignore me. Stick with this strategy, all the way to November 2020. Please.
