Turner Networks Cancels Michael Moore’s “Refreshing” Take on Politics

Michael Moore failed to deliver on his promise. He told Turner Network Television (TNT) he wanted to create a political program that “was to be ‘a raucous gathering place for millions of our fellow citizens in desperate need of a break from the screaming pundits and the purveyors of ‘alternative facts.'” Two and a half years later, the Fat Marxist Millionaire from Michigan has failed to deliver anything. Turner has rescinded the offer.

And it was a generous one.

“I’ve been told over and over by the people at TBS, please never think about any network standard or practice,” Moore told IndieWire. “‘Do what you’ve got to do. Worry about it later,’ but we have been given free rein. I’ve never had that, I’ve never had a network executive say, ‘Go. Do what you do.’”

He could do whatever he wanted. Severed heads, death threats, egging Inauguration attendees, beating up Trump supporters, harassing Trump cabinet members in public, inciting mobs to silence free speech, shooting at Republicans. Wait, I see the problem. Democrats already did all those things.

We know he wasn’t looking to give Americans a break from that.

Turner Got A Better Deal With No Deal

As for addressing alternate facts, any honest effort would have had to contradict most of what passes for “news” on that other Truner standard, CNN.

So, maybe this is better for TNT.

Besides, Moore’s cache in the age of Trump ain’t worth much. Moore had a one-man Broadway show last year that closed after only 12-weeks. His latest venture into film fell far short of anything he’d done previously barely netting 2,000.00 per screen. And he couldn’t even get is production company to produce anything for his sweetheart open-mic deal with a major player in the Democrat Papropagandaanda ministry.

Does Michael Moore have Electile Dysfunction? The inability to get his relevance up in the age of Trump?

I think there’s a Blue pill for that.
