Science as a process requires that you test assumed truths at every opportunity. “Climate Science” is a process that requires that you hide any truth that contradicts your theories. That you silence anyone who dares to question (or just disagree with) your “truth.” The purveyors of these unrefutable hypotheses call anyone who tries to do science with their science Deniers.
Jail is too good for Climate Deniers.
Borders are different. Once defined they are the truth. A fixed demarcation between two sides. They exist. All nations acknowledge them as defining sovereign territory. Crossing them without permission is a crime in a majority of the world and could get you jailed or even killed. Unless you are the American left and we’re talking about the southern border.
Borders are bad — an idea which Rep. Dan Crenshaw, in a series of tweets, has defined as border denialism.
- The belief that physical barriers can simply be “climbed over”…just like that.
- The belief that there’s “no real problem” on the border because 400,000 illegals apprehended on border per year is “insignificant.”
- The belief that because you can’t put a wall everywhere (i.e., the Rio Grande), that you should, therefore, put a wall nowhere.
Whether you agree with the subtler points of Mr. Crenshaw’s arguments, the term Border Denier is officially a part of the collective consciousness.
It is succinct and accurate. We will use it…liberally.
