I think that this was done tongue-in-cheek. Also, I remember a discussion back a few years that one sure way to keep those that should not be crossing our borders was to have Ma-dueces mounted on towers and Internet enabled. Volunteers watching for drug runners / human traffickers, first come- first served. Big multi-language signs warning “you really should rethink coming any closer”.
I’m betting the worshippers at the Altar of Political Correctness will be up in “arms” over either of these Wall alternatives for some strange reasons…
