But it’s really not much of a sacrifice when you view it in the context of Liddle Chris’ own financial disclosure, which can be found HERE.
Liddle Chris is a multi-millionaire, much of it inherited from his family. While he does list offsetting liabilities, these liabilities appear to be held by his family and so cannot be considered real liabilities.
In addition to the family restaurant, he receives rental income from two different sources which amount to between $30,000.00 and $100,000.00. And for the last full year reported (which appears to be 2016), he was paid over $400,000.00 from the family restaurant.
In short, Liddle Chris does not need his Congressional salary to get by. He has ample financial resources of his own, as well as an extremely wealthy family, to fall back on.
