The New Hampshire State Police would like to remind you that beginning yesterday, you can get fined for being this a**hole pictured in the left lane. The one blocking all the traffic. That’s “officially” bad. And it could cost you more than the otherwise generous goodwill of Granite State motorists.
Each citation will run you 50.00.
Some of those exceptions include construction traffic, when emergency personnel or police are attending to someone in the right lane and if you are traveling on a highway with more than two lanes heading in the same direction. The left lane law won’t come into play during any of those instances.
For a complete look at New Hampshire RSA 265:16 go here. But don’t do that while you are driving. New Hampshire has laws against that too.
ATTENTION Slow Drivers in the Left Lane: As of January 1, 2019.
NH RSA 265:16; IV. Motor vehicles shall not be operated continuously in the left lane whenever it impedes the flow of other traffic. pic.twitter.com/g6GyGrwXjW
