John Kasich – “If you think I’m going to sign a bill that gives more power to the gun folks…”

John Kasich

John Kasich is a RINO train wreck. This explains why he’s got supporters in the Granite State. We’ve got plenty of those. Some are never-Trumpers. More interested in expanding the federal feeding trough than advancing state sovereignty. More than a few are Democrats. Not-quite-so-far-left leaning lefties from other New England states. People who came to escape one-party ideological tyranny only to advance it here. NoLabels fodder. Idiots.

These are John Kasich’s “people.”

He’s considering a primary challenge to Trump (if only for the attention). One he knows he cannot win. And to prove that he just vetoed some bills that actual Republicans would have preferred he sign into law.

Kasich… vetoed what was being referred to as a “heartbeat bill” that would’ve been a big blow to abortionists.

The bill would’ve effectively banned any abortion after a fetal heartbeat is detected, which happens within the first weeks of pregnancy.

CT points out that Kasich did sign a law that effectively ends abortion by the second trimester but why stop there when you were a heartbeat away from protecting more lives?

Then there’s Ohio’s Stand Your Ground Bill. Republicans, the real sort, believe that legislators can not limit the right to self-defense. It is inherent to life and inseparable. You don’t stop being human because you leave your home or show up at Rep’s hall in Concord (dig).

Kasich couldn’t help but make it worse. “If you think I’m going to sign a bill that gives more power to the gun folks, are you kidding me?”

As if it is the government’s power to give, his power.

Spoken like a true-blue Democrat.
