Cuomo Declares New York Independence – Wants Gun Control and Green New Deal Future

Let’s call this Trump Derangement Syndrome taken to its logical conclusion. If the President won’t’ saddle the nation with the elites suffocating political-class agenda, we’ll do it ourselves.

Yes, Governor Cuomo has declared the State of New York Independent of the Nation.

“Ladies and gentlemen, this nation is in crisis. The social fabric is fraying and it is nearing its breaking point,” he said. “We must stand up to this tyranny once again. Not with muskets the way our founders did. But with our voices and our votes and with the power and example of our action here in New York.”

His agenda, which includes marijuana legalization, gun control measures, and environmental protections, is New York’s Declaration of Independence, Cuomo said.

The new state motto could be Freedom through Over-Regulation. Or how about, True Liberty Flows from Tyranny?

“As our forefathers rebelled against England resenting the king’s values and abuse, let us announce New York’s rebellion from the current federal policies,” he said.

The people want higher taxes, unreliable energy, and more women with penises. And don’t forget sanctuary for drug dealers and human traffickers (who will have firearms).

Any chance we can get Cuomo to build a wall to keep all of those ‘values’ contained within his borders?

A reboot of the movie Escape from New York, this time as a documentary, seems more likely.
