The latest episode of “Progressive Culture Gone Wild” comes to us from a Florida Middle School. Administrators are punishing a male gym coach who refused to “knowingly place himself in a position to observe a minor female in the nude or otherwise in a state of undress.”
Why would that even be an issue?
A female student at the Pasco County School District in Florida who identifies as a male would access the male locker room without warning, sometimes catching the male students in a state of undress. In reaction, the school did not cater to the male students by making the female use the locker room of her actual gender but instead told the gym coach to oversee the girl using the gym’s facilities.
The coach refused to do so, choosing not to put himself into a situation where he would be in the same room with a potentially nude female minor. In reaction, the school punished the gym teacher.
Chasco Middle School made the transgender facilities change without notifying parents and placed a gag order on the faculty. When the male coach refused to accept the terms of surrender,
an administrator initially threatened to put the male coach on administrative leave, telling him that refusing to supervise a potentially naked female student would “not be tolerated,” said Liberty Counsel attorney Richard Mast. The school’s other P.E. teacher, who is female, also objected and was ignored.

How did this even happen?
And while this story is making its way across the media universe parents have yet to be formally notified. In fact, no one knew, not the parents, not voters, not even the elected school board.
Instead, they were implemented after the district hired Jackie Jackson-Dean, a school psychologist, as a LGBT liason. Her website lists her as the “primary author of the school district’s [LGBT] best practices guide,” which names her as its”lead content developer.” That guide says transgender pronouns, locker room, bathroom, dress code, and sports access are a student’s “right.”
There are no reported incidents of a male student using the rules to gain access to naked Middle-School girls in their locker rooms but that doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened. Teachers are prohibited under threat of disciplinary action to discuss it with parents.
Meanwhile Back in the Real World
We only know because the male gym teacher was surprised by the presence of a biological girl in his boy’s locker room and immediately realized where his career was going if he accepted the demands of administrators.
Into a toilet, possibly in a small cell.
No teacher I’ve ever met would think anything different. Being in a room with a naked student of the opposite sex is career ending no matter what some psychologist says. And when your boss tells you must? Hell, no!
Parents, voters, and the school board need to engage in a little discipline of their own. They should start with these middle-school administrators and their school psychologist.
It sounds a lot like buh-bye!
