Cornerstone has issued its legislative scorecard for the 2017-18 session, bringing forth this reaction from the chairman of New Hampshire’s Democratic Party (which may account for an increase in the scorecard’s circulation):
As someone who has worked with Cornerstone (currently as a consultant), I think it’s worth looking at what Mr. Chairman considers “anathema to NH values.”
Cornerstone is an advocate for the conscience rights of our New Hampshire neighbors.
Cornerstone recognizes that the right to life of all human beings cannot be legitimately abrogated by the government on the grounds of age, health, or condition of dependency.
Cornerstone defends the right of each child to the educational environment best suited to the child. We defend the right of parents to decide what that environment ought to be.
Cornerstone unites thousands of New Hampshire voters who will not be silenced as they work for a New Hampshire where God is honored, religious freedom flourishes, families thrive, and life is cherished.
And speaking of New Hampshire values, Cornerstone won’t back down in the face of bitter and fearful bullies.
