Blogline of the Day – About Maggie “The Red” Hassan’s intern, Keene State student Caitlin Marriott

Red Hen restaraunt

She can spend the week at the Red Hen signing autographs. ” – WZ

(The DC restaurant whose owner told Trump’s Press Secretary and family to leave, and when they did, followed Sarah Sander’s family to another restaurant and organized a mob scene there as well).

The fact that she is only getting suspended for a week says more about Maggie Hassan than Caitlin Marriott.  Sorry (no, NOT! sorry) but if the Party affiliation had been Republican, we’d be hearing no end to the kvetching in the media, finger pointing, and screams to fire her butt.  But to my eyes, not doing the latter is showing the tacit approval that Hassan is giving to Marriott. Oh, and blaming Trump doesn’t hurt her Progressive street cred, she believes:

Besides, Ms. Hassan said, the president was doing worse things and is ducking responsibility.

“This behavior shouldn’t be equated with the president’s destructive and divisive actions … this young woman immediately accepted responsibility for her actions and is facing consequences for them. The president is doing neither,” Ms. Hassan told The Post.

Dare I say she’s only, then, a more refined version of Maxine Waters? After all, NOTHING is their fault at any time.  Even Hassan’s “accepted responsibility” rings hollow because she IMMEDIATELY did the “Trump made her do it” kiddie defense.  But, does anyone expect better from the woman who wanted to “nationalize” all of the NH hospitals because SOCIALISM!

Mean while, Caitlin Marriott’s peers over at the NH Federation of College Republicans had this to say:

NHFCR Responds to Hassan Intern Displaying Immaturity

Concord, NH – Today, it was discovered that the intern that spewed disrespectful words at President Trump was in fact working for Senator Maggie Hassan, and a full time student at Keene State College. The NHFCR State Chairman, Dan Passen, and KSCCR Chapter Chairman, Johnny Iacobucci, released a joint statement addressing this issue:

“The remarks made by Caitlin Marriot, an intern for Senator Hassan, about President Trump were abhorrent. The New Hampshire Federation of College Republicans have strived to end this type of rhetoric and the stigma that college students carry within the minds of the general public.” said Passen. “It is instances like this that do nothing but fuel the stereotypes surrounding our age demographic. The Democrats have preached ‘When they go low, we go high’. The NHFCR has one question for the Democratic leadership: when will this be implemented? The disrespect to our nation’s highest office is nothing but a display of immaturity and closed-mindedness. We call for Senator Hassan to do the right thing and fire Ms. Marriott.”

“Regardless of one’s political views, the actions of Ms. Marriott were entirely unprofessional, unethical, and unacceptable.” stated Iacobucci. “We are very disappointed that the youth of this country does not respect our nation’s leader. I hope that the actions that took place today will depict the importance of respect, tolerance, and maturity to us all.”
