More than 50 student groups at New York University have pledged to boycott Israeli goods and academic institutions, and are urging the school’s administration to join the cause.
Led by NYU Students for Justice in Palestine, the petition of support urges students to boycott brands such as Sabra Hummus and Hewlett Packard, boycott Israeli academic conferences and schools, and demand that NYU divest from Israeli companies.
Gosh, and last week I just bought a couple of Sabra Hummus (Roasted Red Pepper, which the Grandson really likes, and Supremely Spicy) and I’m typing this on a month old HP iCore 7 quad core (love the SSD drive!). I guess I’m out of luck – gosh, I’m so dumpers over this. Wa, wa, wa…….
I dryly note that all of the 50 groups, not a single one of them is Conservative. Typical – they can’t engage in debate as their knee-jerk (emphasis on the second word) is to silence any such debate and to threaten financial harm to force their silence. Also, I dryly note – isn’t that purple in the NYU logo almost the same purple of the Socialist run SEIU?
