Data Point – 3rd quarter GDP 3.0% rise

GDP chart 2013 - 2017

This is on the heels of last quarter’s 3.1% rise – two quarters in a row of above 3.0% since 2014 under Obama (and that year turned in a measly 2.4% overall).  No, two points in a row does not yet make a trend but predictions were showing around 2.4-2.5% due to Harvey, Irma, and Maria hitting Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico).  But Obama had told us to get used to sub 3.0% rates – the “new normal”. Let’s see if Trump, who campaigned on doing much better, can continue to get Government out of the way and let America’s real pastime, business, start making up from being chained up for so long.
