If you cant help the poor without govt

And both of our Democrat Senators, Jeanne Shaheen and Maggie “The Red” Hassan, will be indignant that there are a lot of us believe that Government doesn’t do charity. It certainly isn’t Christian charity (a kindness from one person to another from the kindness of their heart)

UPDATE: thanks to HammerNH, Carol Shea-Porter is not our Senator (God forbid!) but one of our CongressTwits – I got a head of myself in thinking back to the debate where she just couldn’t believe that Frank Guinta could get through college without any govt help – how DARE you succeed without the help of Govt!  She all but called him a liar)
