Palate Cleanser: USS Deplorables and using Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals for ourselves

by

RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions. (Pretty crude, rude and mean, huh? They want to create anger and fear.)

uss-deplorablesYou know, I REALLY like this idea, given that Hillary Clinton is a YUGE Saul Alinsky disciple – right up there with Obama and the SEIU.  She called half the nation “deplorables and irredeemables”.  This idea will be a big poke in Hillary’s eye (and tangentially, Obama as well) (emphasis mine):

Petition at White House website to name next major U.S. Navy ship ‘USS Deplorables’

…So what was the new petition? It was a two-fer. It is a demand that the next major U.S. Navy Ship be named “USS The Deplorables.” It is meant to be in-your-face both to the outgoing president and to the Democratic candidate who coined the phrase “basket of deplorables” — a move that may have contributed to her loss in November.

The petition needs 99,447 more signatures by January 3, 2017 to get a response from the White House. It’s doubtful that it will gain the needed signatures, but its purpose is clear all the same. Obama created the web page so that he would be able to hear the voice of the people. He just did, and they have spoken loud and clear.

C’mon folks – whing your signature out there as a tribute to the passing of an eight year error era! One might think that the petition won’t get enough to get it passed by the date – and Obama is toast after Jan. 20th anyways.  Consider it signing a his and her goodbye card.
