‘You Cannot Lead People You Loathe’
(Mike Pence on Hillary Clinton calling many of Trump’s supporters “basket of deplorables” and”irredeemable“. Tell me, if her campaign slogan is “Stronger Together” and she proclaims that she can unite us all, how does one reconcile the two? Heaping piles of contempt on people isn’t really conducive on doing what she says she can do, is it?
So, if she does win the Oval Office, would you “follow” her? Think of it – being irredeemable means that you are a total loss, not worth “salvaging”. Do you consider yourself as such – unfit, unworthy to be thought of, do nothing, unable to rise above the muck and mire she believes you to be in? That your only state of being should be a well deserved casting out of their society like a drunken sleeping hobo in the gutter of Fifth Ave?
