Sheesh. Hofstra is all over themselves for being the only institute of higher learning that has hosted a Prez debate in the last three cycles. You’d think that their students would be all set with all of the attention that comes with that. But sadly (and scary), not even these “seasoned” students can stand on their own two legs without a case of “the meltdowns” and needed this:
And yet, this cohort is the one that the candidates and Parties are trying to court – when they can’t handle the issues? “Sensitive” material? And warning about Hillary’s coverups of hubby’s sexual license (which on campuses today would certainly would run afoul of both Political Correctness and probably get him in front of a college Star Chamber).
What gets me is the last part:
If you feel triggered, please know there are resources to support you.
If you need to be “resourced” from listening to two people who want to occupy the Oval Office, you shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near a ballot box. The only resource you would need would be a warm blankie, a binkie, and a nice warm spot back in your Mommy’s basement – your tears won’t stain the cement. Don’t come out until you can get your emotions in check and you can man up to the rigors of, you know, life in the real world.
