We’ve followed the short but storied career of Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane since her earliest days in that office. Elected. Democrat. Woman. Protecting corrupt Democrats in positions of power. Lying. Using her office to get even (successfully). A combination of which led to her prosecution and conviction for leaking grand jury documents and perjury.
Jail time is typically prescribed under PA law (a maximum of 28 years but as few as two years for first-time offenders), but we won’t know how it shakes out until she is sentenced in late October.
From Clinton to Kane
Kane is a former Clinton Staffer whose perjury conviction plays well against the backdrop of Ms. Hillary’s history of lying; from the ridiculous (caught stealing stuff from the White House or claiming to have come under sniper fire) to the dangerous – illegal unsecured server/mishandling of national secrets or the Benghazi cover up.
Lying former staffer of lying Democrat nominee convicted of lying.
Kane is or was a star in the Democrat party. She’s no longer a rising star, but she’s dirty, so there may be room for her in the Clinton campaign, at least until she goes to jail. Then she’ll probably show up running a non-profit or perhaps as a host on another failed MSNBC panel show.
Whatever becomes of her, getting convicted burnishes the Democrat resume. Someone will ‘take care of her.’ No need to worry about that.
