Once started, people will continue to clamor for more and MORE entitlements and EVERYthing gets solved, not by self-reliance, but by politics. And having seen it up close and personal when parents got “free” daycare (paid by the State of NH), they were always the first to complain, beyotch, and moan that THEY (just think of it!) had to contribute stuff for their kids – like lunch and a sleeping bag / blanket for nap time. Why, WHY didn’t we supply that for them? It’s always what else WILL you do for me – and why aren’t you doing more?
Imagine that – getting your freight just about paid for and you won’t take care of the needs of your own kids? Socialism is outsourcing your responsibilities onto others. Instead of you choosing, the Government chooses for you.
