Sheesh, can it get much worse with Political Correctness? Thankfully, this is just Canada but aren’t all that much further behind. We wonder why this society’s values are just nuts? Blame those that can control the education system to get to this point where “Mom” and “Dad” are words of intolerance? Yessir!
It used to be: “Heather has two mommies.”
Now, it’s: “Heather has two non-gendered and inclusive caregivers.”
That’s the language the New Democratic Party government in Alberta, Canada, is telling teachers and school administrators to use when adressing the adults with whom students are living. Out: “mother” and “father.” In: “parent,” “caregiver,” “partner,” whatever.
And God help you if refer to one of the little rascals as “him” or “her.”
Once again we see the Left continuing to undermine the traditional family. After call, nothing says that more than Mom, Dad, son and daughter – anything else removes that degree of TRUE inclusiveness where real bonds have real, individual titles. Anything else, whatever the Social Justice Warriors use as a more distant euphemism diminishes those titles. Sorry, their aim, so it is seems, is not to “offend” but to change the common language.
