That was from an email I received from Kelly Ayotte, the junior Senator from NH. She’s running for reelection and I’ve been getting a bunch of her emails touting her “accomplishments”. No, I’m not going to post it here – especially as it leaves out some of her accomplishments that, well, don’t sit well with the conservative base here in NH. Like “crossing the aisle” in supporting Obama’s EPA power grab (literally and figuratively) in the Clean Power Plan. Being a lawyer, I am still waiting to hear from her where in the US Constitution the EPA / Executive Branch has this authority?
And given, yet again, Obama’s lawlessness (which she voted for the budget bill that didn’t even give him a slap on the wrist for his waywardness) actions today, former NH State Senator Bob Clegg has a few bon mots on that decision that enabled Obama to do this (emphasis mine):
I just watched Obama Press conference. Am I the only one who want a to know how the president can hire more FBI and fund more money to make background checks more efficient on Unites States citizens. BUT he CAN’T find a way to do background checks on immigrants coming into this country in droves.
Indeed, if it is part of the narrative, Loretta Lynch is behind (as well as others) it to find a way NOT to do it. Similarly, if it is necessary (and with the added bonus of “punishing our enemies”), a legal path will be found. Even if it is just for a semi-Kabuki Theater moment (his E.O.s today on gun control) or part of the Political Class vision (open borders and Amnesty (her fave AFTER she campaigned against).
And yes, the “Lynch pin” was Kelly Ayotte’s vote to “consent” to Loretta Lynch’s appointment to be the US Attorney General. She “scrubbed” the present laws in such a way to enable this dictatorial swath (and in many other areas as well).
Remember: the Establishment Republicans HATE this:
Winning is only the precursor; it’s what you do afterwards that is most important
Which Principle was she standing for in voting for Lynch who only continues the Progressive march? Or better, what Principles did she not protect in voting for her?
