If advocates of stricter gun-control regulations are correct that easier access to hand guns necessarily leads to more violence committed with guns, why do we never hear of mass shootings (of people) at firing ranges?
Yes, there was the killing of Chris Kyle at a gun range. That admitted, this question speaks to the normal operations at ranges rather than this unusual exception. I’ve been to the range plenty of times and I find it to be one of the safest places to be. EVERYONE is concentrating on safety because everyone knows that a lapse of focus can create a real bad day.
Now, if you want to call Chicago a “city wide range” then perhaps you’d be right. At the same time, however, and to contrast the obvious, while we see the gangbangers and criminals in Chicago throwing lead irresponsibly in the inner urban city, I don’t see them here at NH ranges.
But the Democrats and Constitution haters lump both groups as one – which tells you either how bad their Political Correctness is or how bad they actually see people in their pursuit of their ideological end game.
