Democrat Debate last nite – proved Mitt right

Democrat-Debate-Free Stuff15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

Yup, I think they can pretty much take that off the bucket list – mission accomplished in toto for one (they’re still working on the Stupid Party, however).  Free…you name it; paid leave, more SS benefits, tuition paid, more Obamacare – it never ends.  Mitt Romney was pilloried in the last cycle for his 47% remark yet here are these Socialists masquerading under the Democrat banner trying to shove each other aside in their rush to promise that 47% even more in their hopes to get an even higher percentage.  “Money for nothing” as the song goes.  Problem is, these same mind set Socialists and Progressives have been pretty much successful in breeding and educating out the social stigma that one was supposed to support you and yours instead of hammocking it around while demanding others support you – transformation indeed.

It is rather doubtful that any of these Democrat Wannabees  (with the possible exception of former US Navy Secretary Jim Webb) have ever met yet another Big Government program financed with other peoples’ property.

Socialists and Democrats believe in FDR’s Second Bill of Rights philosophy that true Freedom cannot be obtained if Need is present.  This is the justification they use in taking more and more from others to “eliminate need”.  What they never say is that Needs never diminish and they will never admit that in trying to GIVE others Freedom (materially, anyways), Freedom must necessarily be taken away from others.  Hillary has even said so:

“We’re going to take things away from you”

Somehow, I really don’t understand how ANYone can believe that is a foundational aspect of individual Freedom in that you always have to be wondering what Government is going to take from you next.

Co-founder of GraniteGrok, my concern is around Individual Liberty and Freedom and how the Government is taking that away. As an evangelical Christian and Conservative with small "L" libertarian leanings, my fight is with Progressives forcing a collectivized, secular humanistic future upon us. As a TEA Party activist, citizen journalist, and pundit!, my goal is to use the New Media to advance the radical notions of America's Founders back into our culture.
