Data Point – Republicans hate their Party

by

IMG_0271That is an astounding number: 6 in 10 Republicans feel “betrayed” by their Party.  Now betrayed is a very strong, emotionally laden word.  I know, I’ve used it before – years before – here on the ‘Grok.  And its cause is rather simple: they see that the elected Republican officials won’t act according to what they say they believe.  Let me put that another way: they say one thing and then do another.  Frank Guinta, Kelly Ayotte, Shawn Jasper – have they done EXACTLY what they campaigned on (ok, take the first two as Jasper is all in to his Democrat masters that handed the NH Speakership to him, but you can see that the Republicans under his leadership all but caved to what the Democrats wanted in the budget.  And oh yeah, let me not forget the NH State Senate Republicans Chuck Morse and Jeb Bradley for the biggest expansion of NH government evah by installing Obama’s Medicare Expansion)?

And look in DC – they moaned and whined about needing one majority after another in the House and Senate (and the ability to nuke the filibuster as Reid did when the Dems owned the Senate) – and that’s what was given to them.  Yet, it always seems to be that they want one more thing to get ANYTHING done….and in refusing to fight like the Dems did for Obamacare, and using the tools given to them by the Constitution, what have they accomplished with regards to what they promised voters they’d do if they only got a majority in the House?  And then, again, if they only got a majority in the Senate?  They fully “own” the Congress, yet they can’t get anything done?  They’ve imposed losership upon themselves – so what good are they?

And it seems, the Party doesn’t care because these kinds of numbers keep getting worse. And they keep on caving and acting like Jr. Democrats – fight for the Republican agenda tooth and nail?  Mais non! Gee, I can’t figure out why…..but I do wonder what Party leadership (nationally, here in NH) thinks about such a number.  Or if they even care?

But then again, they don’t talk to me much…gee, I can’t figure out why….62% can’t figure it out either.
