I think it appropriate on this day, the 14th year anniversary of being attacked by Islamic Jihadists. Have we learned from this event? What have we learned? Or is it safe to say, on this day where we honor that whose lives were taken by murderers who brook no dissent from Koranic teachings, perhaps not, given that our President and the Democrat Party have just agreed to an agreement that will allow hundreds of billions of dollars to now flow to Iran – a country that is ruled by Islamic radical mullahs who are the largest sponsors of worldwide terrorism.
Like Obamacare, not a single Republican has voted for this – they own it. Yes, those Democrats have agreed to support those that have preached death to the country of Israel and the United States since the time that our diplomats were taken hostage. Why would we doubt their words?
Indeed, may God bless this nation. Yes, we are not without warts and failures, but I believe that we have been blessed and asking for that to continue is a good thing:
But it also requires more than just asking – it requires action:
if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. (Chronicles 7:14)
